COLYTE[PEG-3350 

BOWEL PREP INSTRUCTIONS 

DAY BEFORE EXAMINATION: 

Morning:

* Add Colyte/Peg-3350 powder to the empty Colyte/Peg-3350 bottle.

* Add tap water to the top fill line of the Colyte/Peg-3350 bottle.

* Shake well until powder has dissolved.

* DO NOT ADD anything else to the prep solution.

* Refrigerate mixed Colyte/Peg-3350 until one hour before you are ready to drink it. 

* Follow our menu included in your packet for your Early Morning Light Breakfast.

At 5 p.m. take 2 Du/co/ax Laxative tablets, (You can buy these at your pharmacy}. 

FIRST DOSE OF COL YTE/PEG-3350.

* Begin drinking FIRST DOSE of Colyte/Peg-3350 at 7 p.m.

* Drink an 8 ounce glass of the Colyte/Peg-3350 prep every 10 minutes.

* Only drink half(2 Liters) of the Bottle of Colyte/Peg-3350 prep at this time!

Bowel movements should begin approximately one hour after the first glass of Colyte/Peg-3350.

Bowel movements will continue for several hours after you are finished drinking the last glass of the first dose. 

Feelings of bloating, fullness, and nausea are common during prep; however, this is only temporary. Once bowel movements begin, these symptoms will subside. 

DO NOT EAT ANY SOLID FOOD, GUM OR CANDY ..... CLEAR LIQUIDS ONLY!

SECOND DOSE OF COLYTE/PEG-3350 

* Begin drinking SECOND DOSE of Colyte/Peg-302-832-1545 hours before your scheduled appointment time.

* Drink an 8 ounce glass of the Colyte/Peg-3350 prep every 10 minutes.

* Finish the second half of the Bottle of Colyte/Peg-3350 prep at this time!

Bowel movements should begin approximately one hour after the first glass of Colyte/Peg-3350. 

Bowel movements will continue for several hours after you are finished drinking the last glass of the second dose. 

Feelings of bloating, fullness, and nausea are common during prep; however, this is only temporary. Once bowel movements begin, these symptoms will subside. 

DAY OF EXAMINATION 

NO SOLID FOOD, NO FLUIDS, NO GUM, NO CANDY UNTIL AFTER YOUR COLONOSCOPY!
